If you have land that can be developed in the future, we can help to find a developer to help you promote the land for development and get the necessary consents.  We will market the opportunity to enter into an option agreement for the land and ensure that you maximise the value from your opportunity. 

Our team can also work with housebuilders and developers identifing and securing sites for specific needs.  

Our team can also negotiate and secure land agreements for energy and infrastructure projects.

Planning applications/appeals

Masterplanning

The planning system has become increasingly complex and it is our aim to simplify this as much as possible for our clients.  We will remove as many of the obstacles to securing planning consent working to an agreed programme. 

We are also experts at negotiating fair and reasonable developer obligations packages.

Larger more complex projects often require a masterplan or development framework at development plan promotion stage or as part of a planning application.  We will recommend a multi-disciplinary team to progress this and manage this process to ensure a viable and deliverable development is proposed.

Development Plan Promotion 

In most cases it is essential that a site is zoned for the use that planning consent is being applied for.  Development Plan promotion is a fundamental part of many planning strategies and we will ensure that we carry this out to meet the requirements of the relevant local authority and undertake any necessary community and political engagement.

Community Engagement and Planning Mediation

Community engagement is a fundamental ingredient of many planning projects.  We will prepare and implement a community and political engagement strategy on your behalf to ensure the maximum benefit to your project.

We also recognise that in some situations not all parties can agree on the best use of land.  We can offer an independent mediation service to help developers/neighbours/statutory consultees explore, reduce or resolve areas of disagreement.
